It's a phone app that currently has four projects:

Tropical Cyclone Modeling (Phase 4)
Corona-AI (Phase 5)
Cell Identity Hunter (Phase 2)
Long COVID

I think you have to stay in the app vs. running in background while you do other things, and the phone has to be plugged in. Right now my phone's in the holder running Long COVID. I keep forgetting I have it until I remember.

I'm now running Folding at Home on a PC, running all projects. It too runs in the background. From nosing around it looks like this is the norm. Can't say I've noticed any reduction to working on other proggies. PC seems to work as normal. I have to admit, I'm not all that good with IT with computers and I'm a lot worse when it comes to the phones. Smart phones don't work too well as I don't seem to connect with things like touch screens etc,. You can put me down as one of the dinosaurs.
