It would appear that with the release of the new Folding core22 version .13, which was released around the beginning of October, that Points Per Day have gone up between 15 and 30%. This is because of optimization of the Folding core to use the cuda cores of Nvidia graphics cards natively. There's no need to download the cuda toolkit or use OpenCL. This has been achieved with the collaboration of engineers at Nvidia.
This is great news for us Nvidia users, and I would recommend any of our teams Nvidia owners to give this a try. My daily points have gone up considerably - I originally thought this was due to over generous WU's, but this looks as if it is permanent. Here's a link to an article about it.....

Good find, Nice boost. My card would still be lousy though and for some bizarre reason i sometimes lose my internet connection to router - need to take action, it connects right away but its bloody annoying it is set to automatically reconnect but every few days it doesn't. It happens on all my devices so probable some router/win 10 conflict. This was one reason i stopped on GPUGrid - lost too many points as just like folding the faster a job completes the more points you get. I would come back from work and find it hadn't uploaded for 8 hours.
... tempting though to fire it up again lol

I've enrolled two new computers of mine. One is a PC I built in April 2020 (Intel i9-9900K & RTX2080 SUPER), the other is a MacBook Pro (i7-1068NG7) purchased in June. I'm glad to be back. I've folded for the team on and off since I was in high school in 2006 under both this name and 'Hologram'. It's nice to be back and see some familiar usernames.
