Have spotted a mini PC Desktop that will require a Keyboard - have a TV/Monitor 24" ready to go. Price £719. Upgrades to RAM and any HD combo easy-peasy.
Any and all comments / advice appreciated in advance. Standard Kit Specs: AMD Ryzen 9 9500 @4.60Ghz - 32Gb RAM - Radeon RX Vega on MB. 500Gb M2SSD. OS W11 Pro - apparently without the garbage add-ons.
Can be easily upgraded to RAM 32 to 64Gb - M2 SSD from 500Gb upwards + space for additional 2 x standard HD / SSD

The main problem with Mini desktop PC's is overheating if they're used for anything strenuous. It's not suited to lengthy gaming sessions or crunching units. Expansion is very limited too, with no chance of upgrading the graphics to something more substantial. But it all comes down to what its going to be used for. As a general purpose very small footprint desktop PC, it will certainly do the job. I have an old mini HP i3 system next to my tv, that I use for streaming and web stuff on the television and its great.
The Ryzen 9 5900x is a very good, very fast CPU, as is the h (laptop) version, which is probably in this system. The onboard Vega graphics are probably quite limited gamewise, but for general purpose stuff should be fine.

Hi 888, thanks for the feedback. In the meantime, I bit the bullet and it arrived Sunday. Very, very compact at 19cm x 19cm x 6cm. True to the hype, very easy to upgrade variable HD devices - 6 screws + a slight twist to the internals gives two options. Remove the HD plate and/or remove the complete internals. As for heat issue, I can't see that being a problem. The case has full ventilation slots on one side where the fan is and also top and bottom of the case which has a small stand = 3 way air flow. In use, you can hear a quiet whisper. If needed, they even supply a fixing plate to attach to a VESA TV etc. Have had to return the new keyboard as keys were sticky with some keys not responding = Update: Have upgraded the storage capacity to 3 Tb. 1 x M2 SSD + 2 standard 3.5" sized SSD from external storage cases. Start to finish 20' inc., tea time break. There is adequate space in and around the MB as it needs a slight twist to get the complete assembly free from the case. All in all, a very happy chappy
