Having cleared out many of M$ unwanted proggies, I've started to use VLC on a PC. Having DVD video files stored as .MP4, at present, I have to fiddle with the settings for each video playback.
Ideally, am looking at an "always fit window with a video aspect set at 16.9." and saving this video playback display setting as the standard pre-set?
Thanx in advance for any and all advice received.

Windows 10's Movies and TV program does exactly this lol. Uses a lot less CPU than VLC on my computer too, especially when playing 4K H.265 videos from Digital Foundry.

That bears out what I've been thinking? Quite possibly, the required setting don't exist. I have what I was asking about working on an Android device but cannot seem to fathom the settings within the Windows version. I had hoped to suss things out and give my Linx 10 PC tablet and PB Netbook to a much younger generation of family members to watch some Sci-Fi and Disney films etc., using the full screen. Seems I may have to re-install a fresh copy of W10 to both my Linx 10 and PB PC's.
