For those who may be interested? Just stumbled across an update regards ST Discovery, kicks off Thursday 15th October in the US of A and on Friday 16th October in the UK on a streaming service beginning with N. Each episode ( 13 ) will be shown on a weekly basis. One can but hope it doesn't continue on the downward spiral of series 1 and 2? As Mr, Spock would say: The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few $$$$. Thanks for the airing date - I suppose I'll be watching, in the desperate hope that its a lot better than the terrible first 2 series. I was going to say that it couldn't be worse......but that would be tempting fate.

For any nosey UFO geeks - you know who you are ;-) - there is a sort of real-life documentary on the subject.
Called Unidentified, it looks at the issue from the inside. It does have a tendency to repeat itself, but it certainly sheds light on the subject. You can find it on Prime, Season 1/6 Episodes or, Seasons 1 & 2 on the Cat that chases the Mouse? Each episode is roughly 45'. The biggest surprise are the individuals involved? Be warned... It's a love or hate thingy.
Can't say I was too enamoured with The Boys or Raised by Wolves but then again, you can't please everybody all of the time.

It could be interesting to see how they get around TOS episodes with regards to the 'new' ships captain and the downgraded /upgraded star-ships of Kirk's time line?

Watch the trailer for season 3: www.youtube.com/watch?v=70dm3WzNussSpoilers below! Written in white; select text to see it: It's based 930 years ahead of season 2 (32nd century), and there are no longer any old characters from past shows - Pike stays behind in the 23rd century, so there shouldn't be any more conflicts with TOS episodes or characters.

If anyone enjoys crime series there are 2 that I consider worth a look?
First up is Mystery Road. A down-under who-dunnit - somewhere in the outback. A wee bit off the trodden track with indigenous characters in leading roles. Six episodes in all.
This is followed by Goldstone, a film - sort of belated follow-on with the same character in the leading role and, once again, takes place in the outback. Interesting, in that given a very recent - 'true life news item' this who-dunnit has much the same issues to resolve.
Both are available on iPlayer and the big N if you fancy giving them a whirl?
If the above series and the following film tickled your fancy?
There is a TV Season 2 of Mystery Road which has been released - not on iP or N - which follows on from Goldstone.
Found all 3 items on one provider. TV Series 1 of Mystery Road - Film Goldstone - followed by TV Series 2 of Mystery Road.
All on Cyberflix - providing you know where to get access?

Discovery started ok in the 1st episode - better than season 2 anyway. With any luck it will get a lot better.
