I can send an email to the WCG team, should I do that to notify that the team link was updated in case someone doesn't know about this forum yet?

That sounds like a plan. I had looked around like some others and ended up with the link to the option to buy the TP site. I arrived here via an email from Brickhead that prevented me from joining another BOINC Team on that very same day which showed some other TP users as members. My email, was in the hope you were still an active user which gained us another friendly face on here. As far as I can gather, WCG TP has another 16 active users. An email to WCG might just allow others to take the plunge and bring them here. More old friends to catch up with.  |

Have just logged into WCG Team Picard and am pleased to report the Team Picard website has been updated to point to this location.

I was briefly a member of the other team "Team Picard" on WCG until this week after sgh's posts here that I looked for and joined team "Picard". I have also changed the team website on the older "Team Picard" to point to these forums, so hopefully the three remaining active members in the older team (Dubravko Garbin, Holger Burghardt, and Knightwolf if any of those names sound familiar) see the website at some point and join us here.

Holger Burghardtis also running Rosetta, did you say you had emailed all the users 888? I assume you have a login for the 'other' team page maybe a pm pointing him here or to the other Picard team? |

Unfortunately you cant email members directly from the admin page, you can only send out a bulk private message to everyone - then the Rosetta system emails the users to notify them with the message, depending on their user settings. I received the private message on my Rosetta page, but I didn't receive the email notification - did anyone else receive anything?

I received the private message on my Rosetta page, but I didn't receive the email notification - did anyone else receive anything? unfortunately i no longer have access to the email i set up my account with  pretty sure i had the PM (not looking now) but I already knew about the forum after chatting on seti message board with you. Could send a pm from rosetta i suppose but thought it would be better from someone on the WCG team. |
