Nice Hopefully a few more will find us, I seem to remember you did a fair bit of Seti Beta, at least you seemed to be the only one running it on the rare occasions I took a peek. I myself just happened to go check the seti messages after that shut down in case 888 happened to post ( I don't have access to my original email address) and after just a couple of messages he had made a new forum |

I did do a bunch of SETI Beta, and apparently I'm the SETI@Home Beta user of the day today... setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta/I wish Rosetta@Home supported GPU computing, I have some catching up to do!  |

"User of the day".........nice one. Apparently Rosetta wasn't well suited to GPU computing when they ran tests, so I don't think it will be supported any time soon. I dont tend to use GPU's for DC projects myself, but I can see this being a problem for a few users. Hang in there though with your CPU's |

Hang in there though with your CPU's I just got sidetracked looking at seti forums in case any resends were imminent (they were not) and reading threads I did not have any real need to, a few of them seem to think it just that it is too difficult to write GPU apps when your not used it - seti had a lot of expertise in that area. it's not too bad to have a project that is cpu only and another that you can run on your gpu. talking of being sidetracked.. I have work in the morning - getting up in too few hours. time to turn off monitor lol |
